Busking at the Seams’ covers theatre and literary works around Chicago, IL. By exposing the public to art they may have not heard of before or genres they have never experienced our goal is to put the names, faces and works of burgeoning artists from the theater and literary worlds in front of those who will appreciate all that they do.

Busking at the Seams was founded by Caroline Huftalen in Atlanta, GA and has since moved to focus on the arts in Chicago, IL. Huftalen holds a BA in English and theater from the University at Buffalo and a MFA in writing from SCAD-Atlanta. As a former performer and arts administrator, Huftalen wanted to do what other publications seem to defund and under emphasize: allow the already bright to keep shining, and shift a little glimmer onto those who are breaking ground with innovative and interesting works.
